·        These onions were sold to dining establishments and supermarket throughout the Unified States.

·        The onions were last imported on August 31, but they may last up to 3 months in storage space and may still remain in companies and homes.

On October 22, 2022, Keeler Family Farms (identified as MVP), of Deming, New Mexico, recalledexternal symbol entire raw onions (red, white, and yellow) delivered from the State of Chihuahua, Mexico, from July 1, 2021 through August 25, 2021.

·        The onions were dispersed in 25 pound. and 50 pound. fit together sacks.

·        The onions are identified with MVP (item of MX), but were refined at Keeler Family Farms.

On October 20, 2021, ProSource Produce LLC of Hailey, Idaho, recalledexternal symbol entire raw onions (red, white, and yellow) delivered from the State of Chihuahua, Mexico, from July 1, 2021 through August 31, 2021.

·        The onions were dispersed to dealers, foodservice customers, and retailers in 50 pound., 25 pound., 10 pound., 5 pound., 3 pound., and 2 pound. fit together sacks; and 50 pound., 40 pound., 25 pound., 10 pound., and 5 pound. cartons.

·        The onions were sold under the following brand names: Big Bull, Peak Fresh Produce, Sierra Madre, Markon First Crop, Markon Essentials, Rio Blue, ProSource, Rio Sysco Imperial, and Valley. 

What Companies Should Do

Don't sell or offer recalled entire raw red, white, or yellow onions.

·        Inspect storage space colders and colders for these onions. If you can't inform where they are from, toss them away.

·        Wash and sanitize any surface areas that may have come touching these onions.
