This is my version of a Shamrock shake for St. Patrick's Day. It's very easy and yummy. This is a recipe of my own invention. So, I hope that you enjoyed it as much as we do. For more recipes, visit kitchenlatte.com

Let's see what we need. Okay, so for this recipe, we have a little bit of whipped cream, one little cherry, some vanilla ice cream, some milk, some green food color, some mint, and mini chocolate chips.

Needed to make :

  • whipped cream
  • 1 cherry
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 5 to 10 drops of green food coloring
  • 1/8 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1 Tablespoon mini chocolate chips

Now you want to trim your use into minis because the large ones whole go through stroll. Okay, so the first thing we're going to do is add our milk, we're going to add around five drops of the green food coloring.

And you can add a little bit more if it isn't quite dark enough. Now on the mint, what you're wanting is about an eighth of a teaspoon. And what I do is I usually pipe it, because it's such a tiny amount.

And you really want to be careful with that, because it's really strong. You'll know if you've ever done. A few chocolate chips and then our ice cream.

Ice cream in there and it does help if your ice cream softens like-that just makes it a little bit easier to get everything out. Okay watch your eyes, we're going to put our lid on getting that a good mix.

Okay and you can see that mine is very light green. I'm going to add just a bit more green my nice vivid green first for Saint Patrick's Day. If you're adding more green just give it another mix.

It looks like we have a nice vivid green. Now that we have our shape in there. Give it a chance whip cream and the cherry on top. Okay, so it's ready to serve.
